Valerie Kerr was born In Winnipeg and has been living in Tkoronto for over 20 years. Valerier has family roots in Norway House Cree Nation. She has many years of personal and professional experience working and supporting our early years community. As a mother of 5 and grandmother of 2, she knows the challenges and joys of sharing our traditional teachings with little ones.
She is a creative and strong leader that excels at early years engagement and programming. When Val is not working hard at NCFST Scarborough Child and Family Life Centre, you can find her playing and training her new puppy and making heart healthy dishes for her family.
